Review of NKJV Study Bible

I was so excited to be given the opportunity to review this Bible from the Blythe Daniel Agency.  I have loved the NKJV version of the Bible since I became a Christian.  The Women’s Study Bible back in the late 90s was my first ever Bible.

When I received this Bible, the first thing that struck me was the beauty of the cover.  I love beautiful Bible and book covers.  This is the 3rd Ed, Full Color Ed which means that there are colored pictures and maps throughout the Bible.  According to the information in the foreword, there are over 15,000 annotations, or more in-depth ways of looking at the text.  There are introductions and outlines to each book.  There are cultural notes and articles spread throughout the text  it also has specific word studies and a large concordance.  There are 2 ribbon markers that will vary in color based on the specific design of the Bible.

In addition to the concordance, the back part of the Bible also contains articles, charts and maps.  The charts include: teachings, parables and prophesies fulfilled by Jesus, and how to relate the book of the Bible to present times.  The font type and print of the Bible are very easy on the eyes and has a flat-table cover.

I love this Bible so much!  I have been looking for a new study Bible in the NKJV version to use in my daily study and to take to church and this is it.  It is a little heavy, but I am willing to work with that.  The only two issues I have is that it isn’t a red letter Bible (which a lot of the new ones are not) and that there is not a lot of room in the margins to write in.  There are quite a few blank pages on both ends of the Bible to write in if you want to write notes in it.  I highly recommend this Bible to anyone at any point in their Christian walk.  I am partial to leather covers, but there are other covers to choose from that will work for each person.  As you can tell, I have claimed this one as mine, but it is available through Amazon: and on or wherever you purchase Bibles.
